หนัง Kabali หรือชื่อไทยว่า กาบาลี “กาบาลี” (KABALI) หนุ่มมาเลเซีย วัย 55 ปี แม้จะมีครอบครัวที่ยากจน รับจ้างทำงานอยู่ในสวนยาง แต่ด้วยความมุ่งมั่นที่จะมีชีวิตที่ดี กาบาลี เลยใช้ความพยายาม มุมานะจนสำเร็จการศึกษาและก้าวเข้าสู่วงการนักกฎหมาย ด้วยหน้าที่การงานที่ดีขึ้น ทำให้ กาบาลี รับเป็นทนาย ให้แก่ผู้ยากไร้ที่โดนรังแกจากเหล่าผู้มีอิทธิพลโดยไม่คิดค่าใช้จ่าย และโชคชะตาก็นำพาให้ กาบาลี ตกหลุมรักกับสาวน้อยจากสวนยาง ที่เขาเคยทำงานด้วยจนวางแผนที่จะแต่งงานกัน แต่งานแต่งกลับต้องพังทลายเพราะครอบครัวฝ่ายหญิงตัดสินใจที่จะให้เธอหมั้นหมายกับหนุ่มอื่นที่ฐานะดีกว่า ทั้งคู่จึงตัดสินใจหนีไปเริ่มต้นชีวิตใหม่กันเพียงสองคน แต่ชีวิตกาบาลีกลับไม่สวยงามอย่างที่ฝัน เพราะว่าเขาเคยสร้างศัตรูไว้มากมายในอดีต และขัดผลประโยชน์กับกลุ่มอิทธิพลเถื่อน จนเป็นสาเหตุทำให้ภรรยาของเขาต้องมาจบชีวิตก่อนวัยอันควร เคราะห์ซ้ำของ กาบาลี ที่ต้องชดใช้กรรมในสิ่งที่ตนเองไม่ได้ก่ออยู่ในคุกถึง 25 ปี แม้เวลาจะผ่านไปนานแต่ไฟแค้นที่สุมในอกหลังที่ต้องสูญเสียภรรยาอันเป็นที่รักไปอย่างไม่มีวันกลับ หลังจากที่ กาบาลี พ้นโทษออกมาจึงกลายเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการแก้แค้นให้กับคนรัก

หนัง Kabali หรือชื่อไทยว่า กาบาลี Kabali, a 55 year old man, is released from the prison after serving a life sentence for 25 years. He used to be a rich man who did a lot of good to the people of Malaysia. He belongs to a Malaysian Tamil family that used to work in rubber plantations. He elevates himself by becoming the first generation learner of his family. He goes abroad to study to be a lawyer. He comes back to fight cases for people free of cost. When he comes back he falls in love with a young woman who works in the plantation. She elopes with him when her family makes arrangement for her to marry somebody else. They start a new life together. Kabali’s life and work earns him a lot of enemies. His enemies want him dead. They want to stop him from doing good work. While Kabali and his wife are getting ready to receive their first child his enemies turn his best friend Anthony against him. Using this situation the enemies attack Kabali, his wife and their friends. Kabali’s wife is dead. Kabali gets arrested. Kabali’s enemies flee the country. Kabali gets out of the prison after 25 years. He is welcomed warmly by his friends who pledge their support for Kabali. He then traces back his enemies and settles scores with them.
